| Description | Hi Kerwin This issue has been discussed below before. https://mantis.cnsbg.foxconn.com/vaas/view.php?id=1527 but this issue has been re-registered as major issue. (UI540 BMT/QA) So SKB manager is asking for a solution to this issue now. https://jira.skbroadband.com/browse/BPM-20345 First of all, please proceed as below. 1) How to prevent the time zone from automatically changing in the setupwizard - Please contact 3PL or Google to see if there is a way to prevent changes. - Can you see the trigger conditions that change the time zone through decompile? 2) if number 1) is not possible Is there a way to restore the timezone that has been changed automatically in setupwizard? - How about setting it to Korean timezone automatically after setupwizard ends? Also, please let me know if there is any other way besides 1) and 2). Thank you YK.Jung | ||||

Hi YK, 1) Do you have any good reason to convince Google to disable this feature? Because adjust timezone by network is basic function. 2) I've discussed this request with our App engineer. He said we can adjust the timezome in pos-thook stage of SetupWizard. Thanks, Jason |

Accordingly, the user does not want the time zone to be changed unknowingly.. Hi YK, 1) Using a VPN is not the general case, It's hard to convince Google to implement a feature that prevents time zone adjustments. I think if you want to fix the value of timezone. It is best to adjust again in the post hook stage of SetupWizard. 2) I think we can add set timezone function to KST in post hook stage of SetupWizard. Thanks, Jason |
